The FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index was created by FTSE Russell, a global index provider, which was rolled out on March 30, 2022, and is set up as a sector-neutral index that tracks the relative performance of Japanese companies exhibiting outstanding environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance across each sector. This score weighting applies to companies with particularly high greenhouse gas emissions to further promote the transition to a low-carbon economy.

S&P/JPX Carbon Efficient Index

S&P/JPX Carbon Efficient Index

The index uses TOPIX, a representative stock price index that indicates trends in the Japanese market, as its universe, and determines the weighting of component stocks by focusing on the status of environmental information disclosure and the level of carbon efficiency (carbon emissions per unit of sales). By adopting rules such as increasing the weight of companies that fully disclose environmental information and companies with high carbon efficiency (low carbon emissions per net sales), the index aims to stimulate environmental initiatives and information disclosure in the market as a whole, thereby revitalizing the stock market.

CDP

The Company has responded to CDP2024 for the first time, achieving a "B" score in "Climate Change" and a "B-" score in "Water Security" at CDP2024.
